From victim to predator: or the double standard of certain characters who set themselves up as champions of rights, who become the flag of media lynching campaigns, what fake do-gooders do, that they have (but) bulky skeletons in the wardrobes… and which act as weapons of mass distraction.
Asia Argento, among the first women in the world of cinema to denounce the sexual violence suffered by the producer Harvey Weinstein and champion of the movement #MeToo... would have agreed to compensate with 380 a thousand dollars Jimmy Bennett, young actor and musician. Bennett accuses Argento of sexual assault. The facts are related to 2013. At the time the boy had recently had his birthday 17 years, and the violence allegedly occurred in a hotel room in California after she made him drink. However, it remains deplorable and disgusting that someone can abuse their role of power.
Let's clarify: abuse is abuse that occurs against a woman, a man or a boy. The problem is that at certain levels the rot affects men and women indiscriminately, power clouds you, you corrupt, evil touches you and contaminates you like a disease, making you lose any moral compass and probably disconnecting you from reality. Another problem is that they have the keys to the house in their hands “dream factory” and which manipulate the imagination of millions of people. Allow me a “flight of fancy”.
I have the impression that the Weinstein scandal, Spacey, Hoffman served to silence a bomb that was about to explode: the existence of a network of serial pedophiles in Hollywood (we were already talking about it with Gianluca Marletta in UNISEX). Morbid details of the violence by producers and actors were offered to distract the public from a far worse scandal that could have ultimately overwhelmed and destroyed Hollywood: and there a sponge blow would not have been enough to erase the violence. Because there the victims were a sort of sacrificial lamb fed to the Moloch of the moment in exchange for money and success: children. This I believe is the worst crime imaginable, violence against a child.
Numerous news events − such as the accusation of rape by former child actor Michael Egan against director Bryan Singer − have pushed director Amy Berg, already an Oscar winner in 2006 for best documentary, Deliver Us from Evil, to make a documentary An Open Secret, which analyzes some cases of sexual abuse of minors within the Hollywood film industry. An Open Secret shows how powerful and untouchable Hollywood figures convince children and their families to trust them. That is, we are witnessing the first persuasive call of Hollywood sirens (the auditions, the holidays, the first films) that promise you a glittering career, then the snake's coils tighten more and more around the prey, tearing children away from their childhood and delivering them into the hands of rich perverts.
Many have obviously cried foul by rallying around the alleged pedophiles and preventing the distribution of the film: However, the list of actresses and actors who have said they have suffered is long (even by children or adolescents) harassment on set or even earlier during auditions.
Elijah Wood, for example, denounced that in Hollywood “Pedophilia is a widespread problem”. The actor, who began acting as a child, he explained that his mother protected him from this unhealthy environment and never took him to showbiz parties. However, many other child actors were not so lucky.
Corey Feldman, star of The Goonies and Stand by Me, claimed to have been harassed in 1980 and brought the testimony of other child/actors who were victims of abuse. For years he has publicly denounced the existence of pedophilia in Hollywood.

Ecco, I fear that this is a secret there for all to see that will never come to light and that it will not be guaranteed the space in the mass media and in courtrooms that it deserves..
