Teramo, 5 Nov – So-called 'ethical' issues are increasingly irrelevant in electoral campaigns and very nuanced in the political programs of the various parties, except for fierce minorities willing to do anything to transform Italian society. Nevertheless, at least as a shouted slogan or as a generic declaration of intent, to satisfy a part of the electorate sensitive to these topics the so-called center-right still presents itself as a defender of the idea of ​​the 'traditional family'.
All this, However, constitutes a real political fraud, as demonstrated by the recent events that occurred in Teramo. Already in March 2016 the municipal council of the Abruzzo city, then with a centre-right majority, had rejected an agenda against the spread of gender ideology. The worst, However, was yet to come: the news came a few days ago that again in Teramo the same civic assembly, this time with a centre-left majority, jubilantly approved a regulation gender friendly to establish the equal opportunities consultancy, in which we aim to "develop and promote interventions in the world of school, in collaboration with the relevant institutions, to strengthen the teaching subjectivity of every sexual identity, to educate new generations to recognize and value gender difference, eliminating sexist stereotypes in written communication, oral and mass media... and initiatives aimed at promoting the visibility of women's culture and the LGBT world both in the field of knowledge (history, sociology, philosophy, psychology, pedagogy, medicine, economy, ecc.) both "know how" (traditional and non-traditional professions: entrepreneurship, cinema, theater, journalism, until, writing, ecc.)”.
The opposition will have set up the barricades? Not even by mistake: there was someone in the city council or outside that, as a political representative of a certain idea of ​​family and society, he argued against this real attack on common sense, even before the values ​​of the 'traditional family'? No, the centre-right councillors, as well as the grillini ones, they pilatesquely abstained: their abstention was also explicitly declared to be due to formal issues, as the consultation would not be open to civil society but would only be the expression of the council majority. The problem therefore is not to spread gender theory, but that ordinary citizens and representatives of LGBT associations cannot do so within the body!
