The USA against Iran: a choice of field that reveals their arrogance
Source: Italian Defense Magazine

All that was missing was the official status, which arrived yesterday at 20:00 Italian time. President Trump has decided to withdraw America from the Treaty with Iran on the nuclear program and to reintroduce it, we will see how later, the sanctions regime. An important decision, which follows what was promised in the election campaign, which makes the Administration hawks happy, e, above all, Israelis and Saudis, who had been pressuring Trump for months to make him withdraw from the agreement, but which dissatisfied the European allies, starting with Italy. A decision, Then, which raises the big question of America's credibility with respect to the maintenance of signed commitments and which could have significant repercussions in the future and in other geopolitical arenas. But let's go step by step. This Administration has made a precise choice of field.
It sided with the Saudis and Israelis – now practically allies – to stop the growth of Iranian influence in the Middle East which occurred through the Syrian civil war, ma, before that, let's not forget it, as a result of the removal of Saddam and the disintegration of Sunni Iraq desired by the Americans themselves in 2003. Exiting the agreement, therefore, it could signal the American intention to move from the passive containment phase of Iran to the active containment phase, Perhaps, in "roll back", or recovery of “portions” of influence within the perimeter “Persian” progressively expanded by Tehran in recent years with a pragmatic indirect strategy. For sure, Trump's decision strengthens the radical faction of the Iranian regime, which has been pressing the Supreme Leader for months to react to the continuous Israeli attacks in Syria, to the detriment of the reformist component, grappling with a serious internal economic crisis that the new sanctions would only exacerbate. And then there are the consequences for transatlantic relations. After the climate agreements, tensions over duties and trade policies, the USA once again radically distances itself from Europe which, in this case, marches in unison stating that it wants to continue to respect the agreement with Iran and claiming its functioning and benefits. A clear difference in views which demonstrates how the United States is willing to let the transatlantic relationship slide into the background when interests considered to be of primary importance are at stake, and exclusive, relevance. After all, Trump's new National Security Strategy was clear on this, as well as in underlining the change in the international scenario towards a new era of competition between powers. Right, the powers “hostile” are identified in the document with China and Russia, but reading between the lines you can also see a veiled reference to Europe – in terms of economic-industrial competition – with respect to which the USA has lost its traditional instrument of influence/interference as a result of Brexit, read the UK. The battle over the sale of the F-35 to Germany, fought openly even in the last ILA show in Berlin, it's there to prove it. In the end, no less important, the plan of consequences for Italy. Rome and Tehran are linked by solid commercial relations, never interrupted even in the darkest years of Khomeinism, and that with the partial removal of the sanctions regime they had blossomed again, in different sectors: from the energy one, to that of infrastructure. Trump's decision affects them again.

Israel and the subversion of every international balance

Israel and the subversion of every international balance

Israel once again confirms itself as one of the major vectors of instability in the Near and Middle East: not only did he support the jihadist cutthroats of al-Nusra (al-Qaeda in Syria) on the Golan Heights for its own strategic calculations, but has carried out hundreds of missile attacks and provocations against Syrian neighbors since the beginning of the so-called Arab Spring in 2011. The last of which was carried out on 8 May with the launch of missiles against a Syrian base on the southern outskirts of the countryi Damasco. But now that in Syria his plans to subvert the Assad regime have hit the wall, Israel wants to reopen another war front against Iran at all costs. With what reasons? Simple, because as Prime Minister Netanyahu illustrated, the Islamic republic is carrying out a nuclear development program. But there is no concrete evidence to support this thesis, except for a certain number of materials stolen by the Mossad from an Iranian government warehouse dating back to that period 1999-2003. Thus a possible military attack on the country of the Ayatollahs would have a good chance of turning out to be a new edition of what happened with weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. From this point of view, President Trump's unilateral decision to terminate the international agreement on the Iranian nuclear power, which, moreover, never led to the end of sanctions against the Islamic Republic by the United States, it is a seal of the Israeli maneuver. In the midst of this political-media saraband that threatens to drag the world into the abyss, however, there is something left unsaid that Western countries, but also Israel's Islamic allies in the region such as Saudi Arabia, they certainly don't dream of reporting: i.e. that the Jewish State has built an atomic arsenal of approximately 250 nuclear warheads, all in absolute silence and without allowing its laboratories to ever be inspected by the International Atomic Energy Agency (DEBT). But the problem is always the arsenals of the “others”, without even a shred of concrete proof, never those in possession of the Israelis. In short, yet another scene in which the ox says cuckold to the donkey. But by dint of playing with fire, it can happen that you get burned. E, if you look closely, we're not that far away. Who knows why they call them non-governmental organizations, better known by the acronym NGO?

Who knows why they call them non-governmental organizations, better known by the acronym NGO? Almost all of them are in fact direct emanations of States that, no longer being able or willing to enter personally as actors in the conflicts they trigger everywhere, they invented this "humanitarian" formula which works much better with journalistic and television storytelling. Take for example the case of the photogenic White Helmets, jumped to the honors of the croborn with the war in Syria. What do we know about these characters led by James Le Mesurier, former officer of the English army and official of Her Majesty's Intelligence Service? Which are a group paid by 2013 with approx 32 million dollars from USAID, plus dozens more received from British governments, Dutch, French and the inevitable fiefdom-monarchies of the Gulf. They are the leader of a number of so-called NGOs, but more strictly OG (Government organizations), financed by Washington and London «for a peaceful political transition in Syria». And we emphasize peaceful. The same organization, to understand each other, which denounced the last two "chemical attacks against civilians" and blamed them on the Syrian government, like the one on the outskirts of Khan Sheikhoun in April 2017 and the last of 4 April in Duma, at the gates of Damascus. Attacks that, in both cases, even before establishing the real dynamics of the facts, they were subjected to bombing by the French-English-American Trimurti. Then the White Helmets, like hundreds of other organizations of the same type, they are nothing more than a long arm of governments and secret services which cannot (or they don't want to) no longer arrive directly with their soldiers on the battlefield. A cover, In short, and not even very successful, that for a while’ of years is systematically used in the most fiery scenarios. Now the "volunteers" with the white helmets are denouncing a new possible chemical attack against the jihadist cutthroats in the province of Idlib, north-west of Syria, this time attributing the responsibility to an air raid by the Russians. Vero, not true, it doesn't matter. Also because, as has always occurred, There has never been any responsibility for chemical attacks by Bashar al-Assad, but by now the "punitive" bombings by the Westerners had taken place and what was seen was seen. After the example of the cases cited, it doesn't take long to imagine what the outcomes of the new case reported in Idlib could be, but by dint of provocations it could happen that the Russians decide to respond tit-for-tat. And at that point it is difficult to imagine what the developments will be. Or maybe we imagine it very well. Read More

L'Italia: un futuro come "media potenza"

Of Antonio Terrenzio
Italy: un futuro come "media potenza"
Source: Conflicts and strategies
In the previous article, we had mentioned the need for a resumption of Italy's strategic role in the Mediterranean and greater weight in the "Euro/Atlantic" area.
The European Union, the Middle East and North Africa, they are the main poles where our foreign policy must return to having an assertive role.
The EU in particular, is experiencing a historical period of extreme weakness: the exponential growth of Eurosceptic parties due to senseless migration policies, the economic and bureaucratic rigidity of its institutions, they have significantly weakened its structure. Brexit was the first important consequence of the crisis of the European system.
Italy, as a founding country of the EU and always present at international tables, G7 and United Nations, it has progressively lost strategic and economic weight, as US unipolarity gradually extended its hegemony across the globe. Read More

Israel wants war, but her enemies reject her

Of Bruno Guigue
Israel wants war, but her enemies reject her
Source: counterinformation
Israel bombs Syria again, Israel simplifies its military engagement process, Israel accuses Iran of possessing nuclear weapons… Without a doubt, We see: Israel is peace, the love between people and the light of nations. A metaphysical entity invested with extraordinary prerogatives, he has the right to bomb whoever he wants whenever he wants.
To achieve this impunity, it is true that the colonizing state has colonized everyone: Washington, Paris, London and even the UN. In the meantime, this entity bombs Syria, even causing a devastating escalation. It's incredible, but the missile fire of the 30 April is the 100th Israeli operation against Syria since 2013.
When Syrian military installations are attacked, However, Zionist leaders suspect that Damascus and Tehran (also indicated) they will end up taking revenge. All that escaped them was an Israeli plane (due, according to some sources) it was shot down in February, nor that the Syrian air defense repelled most of the missiles launched on April 14 by the neocolonial trio (USA-GB-France). Last Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed in a speech to the nation that the Israeli intelligence services managed to get hold of the secret dossier relating to the Iranian nuclear program and that a copy of this dossier was handed over to the Americans. These are numerous documents that, in the opinion of the Israeli prime minister, they would prove that Tehran intends to acquire atomic weapons, thus clearly violating the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action of the 2015, or the so-called “5+1 agreement” (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany), according to which Tehran would have to suspend its nuclear program in exchange for the cessation of the economic sanctions imposed on Iran precisely because this program would cease.

Neocon fundamentalists and Iran
If the United States abandons the nuclear deal with Iran there is a "real risk of war". UN Secretary General Antonio Gutierres raised the alarm in an interview with the BBC.
For Gutierres that agreement was a diplomatic victory and to abandon it "an alternative" is needed.
The issue is not the agreement with Iran

Why the UK, The European Union and the United States are uniting against Russia?

Why the UK, The European Union and the United States are uniting against Russia?
Source: SakerItalia
Introduction
For much of the last decade the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union have waged a campaign to undermine and overthrow the Russian government and, in particular, to oust President Putin. Fundamental questions are at stake, including the real possibility of nuclear war.
The latest Western propaganda campaign, and one of the most virulent, it is the one that started with the accusation launched by the British regime of Prime Minister Theresa May. The British have claimed that Russian secret agents conspired to poison a former Russian double agent and his daughter in England, threatening the sovereignty and security of the British people. No evidence was ever presented. But the UK has expelled Russian diplomats and called for tougher sanctions, to increase tensions. The United Kingdom, its US and European backers are moving towards a breakdown in relations and increasing military proliferation.
A number of fundamental questions arise regarding the origins and growing intensity of this anti-Russian sentiment. Read More
