Stop treating animals like humans! (and anyone who does is a misfit)

How many times, scrolling through the screens of social, or listening to the speeches of enthusiastic owners of dogs or other pets, you have read or heard the sentences spoken: «animals are better than humans», «The more I know men, the more I love animals»? These comments are often expressed by people embittered by human relationships, who after a lifetime of disappointments end up seeing the ideal interlocutor in a little animal. After all, who better than a being without the gift of speech - and therefore incapable of cross-examination - can lend itself to alleviating a social handicap? The pet is one total creaturemind dependent on human care, engulfed in the master's emotional sphere to the point of constituting a relationship free of jealousy and anxiety about betrayal. The owner tends to pour out the projections and frustrations of his own existence onto the animal, transforming him into his own alter ego, attributing feelings to him, thoughts, human morality. They are dedicated to him expensive and excessive attention, an insult to people who cannot afford even a fraction of the comforts reserved for these beasts. Solfanelli Editions, in March of 2017, have published the work by Danilo Fabbroni entitled “Il Sessantotto. Magic, poisons and Spa spells”.
As can easily be understood from the title, This book deals with a topic that is both well known in its external signs and little known in its most hidden and unexplored aspects.: we are talking about 1968, that is, that movement of protest and socio-cultural revolution that took hold at the end of the 1960s. The year was running 1968, to be precise.
What else could you say or write about 1968 that hasn't already been said or written by someone else? Most people are convinced that they know everything about the issue: Sixty-eight was nothing other than the reaction - albeit a little excessive in some ways - of the youth of the time to social bigotry, to the oppression exercised against them by hypocritical moralism and bourgeois conventions: all in all, it was a phenomenon that made Western societies freer and more emancipated, even better.

What is the secret of the events that are changing the world, the engine that drives Putin and Trump, Bolsonaro and Le Pen, Ab and Modi, Orban e Kaczynski, Erdogan and Duterte, Brexit and the European populist and nationalist wave, up to Salvini? Ancient word with a new meaning; it comes from philosophy and the principle of identity, it comes from history and culture, designates peoples, indicates the personal identification document. Identity, sometimes intensified by an adjective: national.
An intellectual who is half political scientist and half philosopher dedicates an essay and a dry title to Identity, half Japanese and half American, the famous Francis Fukuyama. Yes, the one who stirred the intellectual world thirty years ago with his essay on The End of History. Then he predicted the triumph of the liberal-democratic order and the American model. Long disputed and even derided, Fukuyama imposed himself on the world debate. This is what happens now with his latest book, in Italy subtitled The search for dignity and new populisms (User). Fukuyama is not a particularly sharp thinker, original and profound, but he photographs the state of things today like few others, offers a global vision of the present. Panoramic photo, from the point of view of ideas in action. Fukuyama seeks a third way beyond the national-populist right and the politically correct left which has stopped representing "the white working class" and defends minorities and elites. For him, identity is a threatening animal to be tamed in a liberal sense, democratic, humanitarian. "Fanc..o la patria". Anarchists deface the war memorial in Messina

Messina, 22 Feb – Yet another insult to the memory of those who shed their blood in war. It happened to Messina, where the monument to fallen of the Masotto Battery has been daubed with a writing that is shameful to say the least: “Fuck the Homeland”.
As reported by Southern Gazette, they would have been the anarchists the authors of the infamous defacement on the sculptural group dating back to the end of the nineteenth century. The group would have acted at night, as usual, in view of the imminent commemoration of the Battle of Adwa, scheduled like every year on March 1st. The reaction of mayor of Messina Cateno De Luca it didn't take long to wait: “Ofsulting the memory of the heroes who lost their lives to allow you to be born and blaspheming denotes that you are ungrateful and without a shred of humanity”. The mayor specified that there will be immediate intervention by the municipal company Messina Servizi to erase the graffiti.
