A delegation for the revision of the Civil Code was also fired (there is a chapter that concerns associations and foundations, carrying out coordination with the third sector regulations), in particular for "prenuptial agreements" through which the spouses can regulate what will happen before the crisis, not only with respect to assets "but also on offspring", thus preventing children from being "hostages of one or the other", with a judge who «limited to the offspring», will evaluate whether the decisions taken "actually correspond to the needs of minors". This is what Minister Fontana expressed himself in July, indicating the programmatic lines of his ministry. The delegation will also have a hand in succession, «providing the possibility of transforming the share reserved for legitimate heirs (pursuant to the articles 536 and following of the civil code) in a share of the value of the hereditary estate".
