Sign so that they are truly informed about the physical and psychological consequences of voluntary abortion

Dal 1978, year of the legalization of abortion in Italy, more than six million lives of children in the womb have been taken. This is the main drama of abortion: a death sentence before being born.
However abortion is harmful more people: not only the child but also the mother, the father, the brothers, the grandparents. I physical and psychological damage that abortion causes to the mother are unfortunately serious and real, but no one warns her about the danger she runs.
Abortion damages the psyche of women
On a psychological level, abortion can cause post-abortive syndrome, which manifests itself in the form of anxiety, sadness, depression, self-harm, obsessive or suicidal thoughts, even after decades.
Abortion also hurts women physically
The physical consequences in the short term may include hemorrhages, infections, perforations of the uterus and other complications related to the abortion procedure. The latest report from the Ministry of Health on the application of the law 194/1978 makes a partial estimate of 640 physical complications of this type in just one year 2015.
Long term, consequences for the mother may include infertility, subsequent spontaneous abortions, premature part, gestures, placenta previa, blood loss, need for post-partum hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancies, endometriosis e breast cancer. With respect to this last problem, the best scientific research identifies abortion as one of the main risk factors for breast cancer, which increases by more than 150%.
Today women die from legal abortion
In the end, no one says that abortion can even lead to death also of the mother: il Center for Disease Control and Prevention, US government agency, admits that from '73 to today they are almost 500 women died from legal abortion in the United States alone, While the World Health Organization confess that approximately every year 150 women in Europe, and even in the rest of the world tens of thousands, they die due to abortion.
