Thousands of French people have been pouring into the streets every Saturday for two months, regardless of the tear gas, of truncheons, of rubber bullets, of the ten deaths among demonstrators killed by cars at roadblocks. If the revolt seemed to be dying out two weeks ago, il 5 January a crowd of 35000 people, extremely motivated, took to the streets, spreading beyond the Champs Elysees and causing a crisis for the police who were not prepared for such a scenario.
The French government is very weak, the president's "magic circle" is compromised by the resignation of key men who guaranteed Macron's rise, Macron's promises of fiscal aid have fallen on deaf ears.

But who are the Yellow Vests?? It is difficult to answer unequivocally. The movement does not refer to any party, it does not require massive financing, it has no officially recognized leader or recognized hierarchy; however like an army it has a "uniform", gathers singing the Marseillaise, and its only banner is the French flag. There is no doubt that the traditional media across Europe do not give the movement an audience, they do not interview its members, they do not publicize the victims or injuries, they hardly broadcast live broadcasts of the demonstrations, and images of the toughest clashes, particularly in the French province, they only come from the network. Media coverage, however, is maximum from the information networks based in Moscow, especially RT and Sputnik, who follow the Paris demonstrations minute by minute "in the field"..
Friday 5 It has become clear that the police will not be able to control the streets of France if the number of protesters grows again. The protests, which at the beginning were predominantly peaceful are now turning into semi-organised revolts with division of objectives and coordination of actions. The violence implemented by the Minister of the Interior, particularly when the protest seemed on the verge of collapse, has ensured that those who take to the streets today do so with mental preparation for the clash and with the awareness that we are not going to Paris, in Caen or Bordeaux just to parade through the streets but that probably leads directly to clashes with the police departments and that any means of transport is now legal (including a forklift used to break down ministry doors) to achieve the first real goal of these protests: Macron's resignation.
We don't know whether Macron will resign or not, but before the collapse of a head of state, of a sovereign, of a dictator, there is an obligatory passage before the collapse. This obligatory step is solitude, and without a doubt Macron is alone today, without a party behind him, without public opinion to support him and soon perhaps without the support of the French security forces...
