Beyond 200 local administrators gathered under the aegis of Family Day. Gandolfini delivers a folder with concrete political proposals

Politics requires tenacity and courage, defending these principles will not get you applause but you will do the right thing and you will be rewarded at the ballot box by millions of families who are the true driving force of this country". As Massimo Gandolfini he looked beyond 200 local administrators, belonging to different political parties, who participated in the first meeting of the inter-institutional group for life and family, which was held in Milan at Palazzo Pirelli of the Lombardy Region.
“We don't want to build walls, but tear down mined bridges: they are the bridges of relativism, of unique thought, of the economist and nihilist lobby. We want to explode the false myths of homoparenting, of gender identity, of gender education, of the right to suicide and to destroy oneself by taking drugs. We want to build fundamental bridges of civil society: vita, family, filiation, parenting, identity and educational freedom", Gandolfini continued. “Let's not underestimate the economy, economic policies for the family are fundamental but these derive only from a correct vision of man and society. We want the value of the dignity of women and motherhood to be reiterated. For this reason we have given you a folder with concrete proposals to present in your institutional settings. Motions on support for difficult maternities, on forms of collaboration between school and family through informed consent, on the ban on the transcription of registry documents of children obtained abroad through a rented or heterologous womb and on many other topics", Gandolfini said again.
The event organized by Family Day was in fact the first programmatic meeting of an institutional inter-groupanimated by mayors, governors and regional councilors, provincial and municipal authorities who intend to promote the principles ofnatural law, on which to found a more humane society, attentive to the needs of the weakest (elderly people, donne, children and disabled people) threatened by the utilitarian logic of the throwaway society. For the occasion, numerous administrators illustrated the good practices carried out in the institutions, like the mayor of Sant'Agata Bolognese, Giuseppe Vicinelli who founded the first Department of Life in Italy. In conclusion, the president of Family day, Massimo Gandolfini, invited all the mayors and regional and municipal councilors who spoke today to participate in the World Congress of Families to be held in Verona from 29 al 31 March.
