It was September 2016 when the tycoon George Soros, founder of the Open's "philanthropic" network Society Foundations, announced from the columns of Wall Street Journal of wanting to invest “in start-ups, companies, social impact initiatives and businesses founded by migrants and refugees". Soros is someone who keeps his promises and has done so since 2016 to date, as many journalistic investigations have established. Starting with the one conducted by Gian Micalessin for The newspaper, that already in March 2017 clarified the relationships between the financier and NGOs in the Mediterranean.
Among the Italian companies that receive contributions from Open Society Foundations, as he had pointed out some time ago also the blogger Luca Donadel, there is also the association Good Law chaired by Luigi Manconi, president of Unr and former Undersecretary of State for Justice in the second Prodi government (XV legislature) with delegation to the penitentiary system, than in recent days he harshly criticized the line of the Minister Matteo Salvini on immigration.
Manconi has been a Senator of the Republic for the Democratic Party since 2013 until 2 February 2018 when he was appointed by the then President of the Council of Ministers Paolo Gentiloni coordinator of Unar, the Office for the promotion of equal treatment and the removal of discrimination established within the Department for Equal Opportunities. The professor replaced Francesco Spano, who had resigned the year before after the broadcast The Hyenas documented how the office assigned a tender for 55 thousand euros to an association which some clubs belong to, saunas and massage centers where male prostitution was practiced and orgies took place.

The professor, as already underlined, he is also president of the non-profit organization “A Buon Diritto” whose website “is created with the contribution of Open Society Foundations”. Just take a quick look at the association's website to confirm the contribution of the tycoon and his philanthropic network, in spite of the "conspiracy theory" that the left sometimes appeals to in an attempt to "exonerate" the financier and his plots. On the other hand, the former professor's non-profit organization Continued Fight has all it takes to please the financier's globalist and borderless vision: immigration, anti-prohibitionism, therapeutic freedom, all themes dear to the global agenda of the Open Society.
Manconi and his non-profit organization also support the campagna Welcoming Europe promoted by all the associative realities of the progressive firmament - Arch, Baobab Experience, Migrants Foundation, Sant'Egidio, Free, CGIL. Initiative, addressed to the EU Commission, which aims to "strengthen humanitarian corridors for refugees, decriminalize acts of solidarity, protect victims of border abuse" and which is supported, among others, and Michela Murgia, Diego Bianchi, Leoluca Orlando and Gad Lerner.
“Let's welcome them all”
The president of Unar is also the author - together with Valentina Brinis - of the pamphlet Let's welcome them all. A reasonable proposal to save Italy, Italians and immigrants with preface by the former minister Cecilia Kyenge. The objective of the two authors is to demonstrate that "the arrival of foreign women and men is an opportunity for salvation for an aged and immobile society like ours, for its broken production system and its welfare system in crisis".
In the 2014, the then senator of the Democratic Party met the financier in person to discuss immigration and the right to asylum. He brings it back the website of the senators of the Democratic Party: “The work of George Soros and of the Open Society Foundation in Italy – wrote Manconi at the time – is certainly to be appreciated and is consistent with our request to Europe to create EU facilities in the countries of departure of migrants, together with international agencies and humanitarian organizations. This is to allow early examination of asylum applications and to avoid dangerous journeys to the Mediterranean".
