The first results of the autopsy on Pamela Mastropietro's body do not dispel the doubts about the case, performed by the forensic medicine staff of the University of Macerata.
However, in the results delivered in the early afternoon to the Public Prosecutor's Office there are some important conclusions from the pool of experts.
According to Mariano Cingolani, doctor who carried out the exam together with colleagues Dora Mirtella and Roberto Scendoni “the body was cut in a 'scientific way’ and all organs are present”, but since “there are no traces of blood and urine on the remains of the corpse” the first investigations “did not allow highly significant results on an evidentiary level to be achieved”.
More could be known from further investigations that will be carried out next week, but in the meantime new details emerge regarding the legal profile of the case. According to the Macerata prosecutor's office, the Nigerian Desmond Lucky, accused of complicity in murder, would have sold one “very modest” quantity of heroin to the 18 year old found dismembered in Pollenza. However, there are no conditions for precautionary custody.
