But be careful, the proposal also establishes precise limits for accessing the benefits. First of all, the incentives are aimed exclusively at religious weddings celebrated in Church.
The wedding must be celebrated in Italian territory, just as the citizenship of the newlyweds must be Italian, for at least ten years. Another bond for the future husband and wife: their age must not exceed thirty-five years.
“The proposal – say Northern League sources – arises from the analysis of data relating to weddings celebrated annually in our country. Almost half of couples choose a civil ceremony, due to the onerous expenses typical of a religious wedding.
