Some parishioners of Regina Pacis boycotted the Prayer for Peace

In church photos of migrants instead of the Via Crucis. And the rainbow flag placed on the altar.
If for some the choice of the priests of the parish of Regina Pacis, a Monza, it is nothing other than the normal adherence to the new dictates of the Pontiff, on the contrary, to others all this seemed out of place.
So much so that some parishioners decided not to participate in the prayer for peace which was held on Saturday at noon in the church in via Buonarroti.

A meeting that, among other things, it also saw the participation of asylum seekers hosted in the city.

The choice to remove the traditional ones from the left wall of the church - and temporarily place them in the sacristy 14 panels that correspond to the same number of stations of the Passion and death of Christ was taken unanimously by the priests of the Pastoral Community of the Holy Four Evangelists.
The shots, that depict migrants, they will remain exposed until 21 January, the International Day of Peace, and are part of the Beyond the skin project, in which the children of a class of the «Nanni Valentini» artistic high school collaborated in collaboration with Comunità Monza and Brianza.

«We understand integration, but what does it mean to remove the paintings of the Via Crucis??», asked one of the parishioners who decided not to go to church for the Angelus.
