Reporting of Gender Observatory
The LGBT normalization airs in prime time on Channel 5. Last 4 January, protagonists of the popular game show Of Gerry Scotti The Wall, they indeed were Riccardo e Giuseppe, a couple of men, united civilly in 2017 That, after revealing their relationship, they received applause from the entire studio, commented thus by the presenter:

'We are pleased with this tribute that the public has paid you. A great gesture of civility that we are pleased to be able to host because otherwise it would have seemed discriminatory, but we have none of any kind. We are very pleased to host you, you are beautiful and elegant'.

In the end the couple took home nothing in terms of winnings, by getting the crucial questions of the quiz wrong, however, with their presence in the very popular pre-evening slot and with the thunderous tribute to their homosexual union received by the studio, they have earned popularity within the LGBT community for having placed another important step in the process of normalization of same-sex unions.
