One of the great tragedies of our time is the abandonment of the working class by the white liberal progressive left. It is no longer the working class that is the victim and Wall Street, the big banks and the capitalists to be the executioners. Today the perpetrator is the white working class and the victim is everyone else. Somehow, the working class, whose incomes and opportunities have shrunk for three decades, a class that has no politicians and has also been abandoned by the Democratic Party, he is the powerful exploiter who pushed aside the billionaires and dominated America in their place. How likely is the mistreated working class, branded by Hillary Clinton as “Trump's deplorables”, is the one that governs America?
Capitalists use their power to maximize their income and wealth, but in identity politics the white male simply uses his power to engage in racism, in sexism and homophobia. Furthermore, unlike the groups of victims – homosexuals, preferred minorities and women – the white male is not protected by quotas, political correctness and hate crimes. A white male can be called any name in the book, but a word is considered offensive or threatening to a member of a victim group and, around you, the powerful white male is driven into sensitivity training or into the ranks of the unemployed. If the truth were possible, clearly it would be white heterosexual males who comprise the victim group.
But like all ideologies, identity politics is blind to the facts. Ideology is not based on truth. Identity politics is based on Jewish cultural Marxism, which was designed to break goyim society, and he did a good job.
Identity politics has a vast capacity to distort understanding. For example, One positive outcome of Donald Trump's election as president is the revitalization of national wildlife and environmental organizations. The dependence of these organizations on corporate subsidies and, Therefore, by corporate executives as members of their boards of directors, it diminished their fighting spirit. Trump's all-out assault on the environment — even national monuments and Florida's protected coastal waters — is reviving them.
The magazines of environmental and wildlife organizations are becoming more combative, a good thing. For example, in the current issue of Sierra, there is an article, “Fool’s Gold”, by Sophia Jones:

The article talks about the acquisitions of the Colorado mining giant, Newmont, of small farms in Ghana to expand their mining operations.
Somehow the US mining company, probably with the payment of bribes, obtained permission from the Government of Ghana, or by anyone in the government of Ghana, to allow the mining company to evict Ghanaian citizens from their land at minimal cost to Newmont. Sophia Jones writes that Yaa Konadu was moved from her land, where she and her family were self-sufficient, with a cost to Newmont of only 343 miserable dollars.
The article documents many negative consequences of Newmont's acquisitions, including the ruining of water resources and the exposure of sexually interested young women to male employees who do not care about resulting pregnancies.
As far as I can ascertain, Sophia Jones is providing accurate information. It is not my intention to discredit her by pointing out that she, perhaps under the influence of identity politics, it loses the core of its history of capitalist exploitation, replacing it with the exploitation of women by men. The villain of the article ceases to be Newmont and becomes the heterosexual male.
If you read Sierra's article, which I recommend, it will be seen that identity politics prevent Sophia Jones from focusing on capitalist exploitation. Global capitalism is ruining people's lives all over the world, but the emphasis is diluted with a history of sexual exploitation.
For global exploitative capitalism, identity politics is a useful creation that diverts attention from itself. I can visualize corporate planning staff deciding that the way to rape a state economically is to shift focus to gender politics.
The downside of Sophia Jones' article in Sierra is that it shifts the concern away from global capitalist exploitation. In other words, identity politics serves the ruling class, masking who the real exploiter is.
