A trial on freedom of information and the right to “think differently”. This is essentially what the defamation trial against Silvana De Mari is taking shape, writer of fantasy books, blogger and surgeon, sued by LGBT associations for expressing opinions “politically incorrect” on homosexuality. What were the reasons he stated?
«I basically explained the reasons why I made certain statements. I also brought some material and illustrated for the umpteenth time the exact meaning of the term pedophilia. I reiterated that it is a sexual orientation characterized by attraction to minors, but that doesn't mean putting your hands on children. Therefore a person is to be considered a pedophile the moment he expresses sexual preferences for minors regardless of whether he abuses them or not.. I know well what pedophilia is since I have studied it and taken two exams on it, while this word does not appear even once in the penal code. When I said that homosexuality is not congenital and not genetic, and then you can stop being gay, I merely stated scientific truths. When I argue that certain diseases are higher in the homosexual community than elsewhere, I am revealing a statistically proven truth, beyond any reasonable doubt, which gets worse year after year".

«The LGBT movement wants to muzzle freedom of opinion and is doing so by contesting my words which I prefer not to repeat at least until the trial is concluded».

«I think there is some hope, but the most interesting thing is that thanks to these complaints the message I wanted to convey to public opinion is rebounding as I hoped. I am very satisfied with this. My trial is not only a trial against freedom of speech but also against freedom of choice. The decalogue that the LGBT community has imposed on the order of journalists, for example, to the point 8 establishes that every journalist is called upon to define as cliché any reference to the need for the child to have a father and a mother because science has proven the opposite. This is absolutely false. In the USA, scientific research on the modification of homosexual orientation has been blocked, are prohibited by law.
It is also a trial against freedom of faith. If anyone today dared to report aloud the affirmations that Saint Catherine of Siena claims to have received directly from Jesus Christ, in many countries he would risk prison".

I support you now, as I have also supported you other times online. I am a woman, medico, mother of a homosexual son. The family did not reject him, in fact it is always there’ beloved first son, but he refuses, like the entire LGBT community, any reasoning, closes every window of communication with us.
