Glorious Saint Joseph, model for all workers, obtain for me the grace to work with a spirit of penance for the expiation of my numerous sins: to work conscientiously, putting the cult of duty above my inclinations, to work with gratitude and joy, considering it an honor to employ and make profit, through work, the gifts received from God: to work in an orderly manner, pace, moderation and patience, without ever retreating in the face of tiredness and difficulties: to work especially with purity of intention and detachment from myself, always having death before my eyes and the account I will have to pay for the time wasted, of unused talents, of the omitted good, of vain satisfaction in success, so disastrous to the work of God. All for Jesus, everything for Mary, all in your imitation, or Patriarch Joseph! This will be my motto throughout my life and at the moment of death. So be it.
