May 1st, Mattarella's cheek: "L'Europa tutela il lavoro"

“I labor rights, arisen in the negotiation, have become universal rights and have shaped a model of welfare state that, away away, strengthened general assistance measures, the need, the disease, old age. This system of rights, which puts the person at the centre, it's called Europe." The cheek of the President of the Republic Mattarella, it really has no end, also on May 1st.
Thus the head of state expressed himself during the speech for the celebrations of the workers' day. Evidently Mattarella has forgotten the levels galloping unemployment into which not only Italy has sunk, but much of Europe since the European Union began to exist as a consolidated economic reality. He forgot the precarious job, has now become a constant of a company like ours that thirty years ago, albeit imperfectly, it protected job security like few others in the West.
Moving on, Mattarella argued that “if the Union was formed by the national states, now only the united strength of the continent can ensure the defense of those principles". For now - and "for now" we mean for twenty years now - the "united continent" has done nothing but crush them, principles here, dear president.
E, always “for now”, the welfare state you mentioned has been destroyed, dear president.
