Rio de Janeiro, 3 Jan – Yet another stomach ache for progressives following the tweet published by Jair Bolsonaro: the president of Brazil does not stop announcing his government intentions and does so with a statement that does not lend itself to misunderstanding. This time it's over in the crosshairs the Brazilian school system. The Carioca president briefly but extremely clearly outlined one of his administration's projects: get rid of “Marxist rubbish” which like a plague infects schoolchildren from an early age, e dismantle left-wing ideological hegemony from its foundations that holds the country in check.
“One of the goals for us is to bring Brazil out of the worst positions in the world education ranking and to fight the Marxist rubbish that has been inserted into the education system”, he declared. “This way we will be able to train and grow citizens and not political militants [left]”

Bolsonaro then announced the name of the new Minister of Education: Ricardo Velez Rodriguez, the terror of the radical chic Brazilians, former teacher at the Command School of the General Staff of the Brazilian Army.
