Among the representatives of the institutions who sent their best wishes to the Italian mothers was also the vice prime minister Matteo Salvini, who however launched a jab against rainbow families. Speaking during a rally in Sanremo, the Northern League leader stated: “Out of rudeness I didn't do it at the beginning, but I say best wishes to all mothers who are in this square. To those who are no longer there and to those who will become, but no best wishes to the 2″ parents.
