Saviano makes yet another fool, this time with the State Police. After anti-nomad revolts of the exhausted population of Casal Bruciato and the statements by Matteo Salvini on the anti-Roma dossier, the writer went down hard on social media, even taking it out on the police.
“An order service available for a party's electoral campaign", Saviano su defines it Facebook. Similar but shorter post on Twitter, with the difference that it is the official Police page that responds, using very harsh sentences.
“The state police it serves the country and is not bent to any partisan interest. Anyone who makes a mistake pays in the manner prescribed by law. How sad it is to read hasty and ungenerous comments for political disputes or to settle personal scores.", it reads.
But then what had Salvini said that was so ambiguous? Nothing. He simply criticized the violence, reiterating - what a terrible crime - that a dossier on the Roma is about to be published.
Evidently for Roberto Saviano it is necessary to take every defense of a community which - as the facts demonstrate - creates disorder wherever it stabilizes, crime and endless inconvenience for residents. The important thing seems to be not to touch the mantra of anti-racism in the absence of racism, not giving a damn about those who can't defend themselves and struggle to survive every day.
In short, it seems that in Saviano, after complaints from the ministries, I really miss receiving similar attention from the police. Forces similar to those that – in theory – protect him from alleged mafia dangers and threats.
