Ahmadinejad e il "fascismo iraniano" according to Prof. Abdulmohammadi

by Giacomo Bergamaschi

Pejman Abdolmohammadi is a scholar of Persian origin who teaches History and Institutions of Middle Eastern countries at the University of Genoa. He is the author of a fundamental essay on the Shiite political thought of Imam Khomeini, considered the most objective and scientific in circulation at an international level. In his last essay, co-written with Giampiero Cama, “Contemporary Iran” Mondadori University Editions, writes (pp. 127-129) that Ahmadinejad belongs, in the internal dialectics of the Iranian Islamic Republic, in the current of “populist and nationalist conservatives”; dirigist and statist in economics, during his two governments Ahmadinejad aimed to reduce the high social differences created in Iran, offering support policies towards the most disadvantaged classes, the shares and profits of state-owned factories and industries, for example, were redistributed among the workers and part of the related actions were redistributed to the weaker classes in the form of "social justice actions". (p. 169).
Ahmadinejad creates a fund called "Imam Reza" for young families who marry and have children; it also puts a brake on privatizations by granting control of industries and state companies to cooperatives rather than private investors and its system reformed the system of state subsidies in a much more fair and "socialized" way than the Hartz IV or the Dignity Decree. “Ahmadinejad set up a social policy (really and concretely, ndc) populist, distributing social benefits aimed only at the less well-off classes" (p. 169). What is Fascism (Z. Sternhell) and the 21st Century

Of Giacomo Bergamaschi

We talk about Fascism every day, not only in the West but also from Brazil to Argentina, from the Philippines to China. Almost always inappropriately, skillfully decontextualizing and confusing. As if inappropriately, there was talk of Napoleon and the Bonapartist "Old Guard" after the Congress of Vienna, the Yalta Pact of the 19th century, wanting to venture a strong and deliberately provocative comparison.
Zeev Sternhell's essay "Birth of Fascist Ideology" certainly remains the most profound and objective one for understanding the fascist phenomenon, with some clarifications, which we will attempt to advance below. Zeev Sternhell, far-left Israeli, anti-fascist and historical materialist, in addition to the one mentioned, he dedicated many essays to the issue: Neither right nor left, The revolutionary right, Against the Enlightenment: the history of ideas, Birth of Israel and many other articles and writings ranging from the American to the French Revolution.
The Israeli author is more of a political philosopher like Del Noce than a pure historian like De Felice, for this reason some of his intuitions are in my opinion brilliant and not outdated on the question of Fascism. We cannot even consider Guido Melis as the first authors of Fascism, nor an Emilio Gentile, as their empiricist vision, reductionist, phenomenological (especially that of Gentile, which merely transfers to the Italian case the method that Mosse applies to the German case), does not allow us to understand the phenomenon in depth.

Matthew Castagna: "Cattolici tra Europeismo e Populismo" – The challenge to nihilism

Of Lucia Rezzonico
Yesterday, our manager Matthew Castagna premiered his book “CATHOLICS AND BETWEEN Europeanism POPULISM – The challenge to nihilism” (SOLFANELLI editions pag. 243) at the national broadcaster, also visible abroad on satellite, Italy channel, host of the show “News Today” of the conductor Gianluca Versace.
Together with him, a well-known forty-year-old communist from Padua, the commentator Aldo Bianchini, the most conciliar journalist and writer Luciano Lincetto and the area beat singer of a sort “hippie left” Gigi Barrichello.

The guests of yesterday morning's episode: Chestnut, Bianchini, Barrichello, Lynx

It certainly cannot be said that Castagna played “at home”, anything but. But he himself explains to us the reason for choosing to go out with her first presentation in this context: “Today television is still, in Italy, the most used means of communication, as demonstrated by expert data and the audience, very high, obtained from the episode, which was followed by an avalanche of orders for the book. I specify that two types of presentations or conferences can be held: where we talk “in house”, and it is certainly a useful method. But if the aim is to reach those who don't think like you, the means is that of cross-examination. This time I was offered this and I gladly accepted. I have another one, simile, at stake, in Verona and three others, in September. Starting from October I am available for further presentations, always writing to christusrex@libero.it“. Read More

"Christus Rex": freedom of expression or gender dictatorship?

THE POINT
Of Giacomo Bergamaschi, of the Club “Christ the King – Tradition” (photo above of the speakers at yesterday's LGBT conference at Villa Buri, VR. All rights reserved.)
A small minority of the population (LGBTTI), whose sexual tendencies are deviant compared to those of the vast majority, she managed to make her own interests transform into the dominant theme of one global cultural revolution. This is all amazing, because the realization of these interests does not contribute to the solution of the existential problems of society as a whole but rather amplifies them, leading to the disintegration of families and a demographic crisis. The new sexual ethics, which poses homosexuality, bisexuality, transsexuality and transgenderism on the same level as heterosexuality, it has now become an integral part of pedagogy in schools of all levels. The United States Supreme Court Decision of 26 June 2015 on same-sex marriage has created a scandal everywhere and many analysts have also seen the rise of Trumpism as a consequence of the reaction of the Pro-Life people towards legal decisions that trample on, in the name of rights, the first right: that of procreation and Life. The Constitutional Judge Samuel Alito This is how he interpreted that sentence of 1915:
“Today's decision usurps the constitutional right of the people to decide whether to maintain or modify the traditional notion of marriage…When a slim majority of judges can invent a new right and impose that right on the entire nation, the only real limit given to future majorities will be their own opinion regarding what those in political and cultural power will be willing to tolerate.".
