Yesterday, our manager Matthew Castagna premiered his book “CATHOLICS AND BETWEEN Europeanism POPULISM – The challenge to nihilism” (SOLFANELLI editions pag. 243) at the national broadcaster, also visible abroad on satellite, Italy channel, host of the show “News Today” of the conductor Gianluca Versace.
Together with him, a well-known forty-year-old communist from Padua, the commentator Aldo Bianchini, the most conciliar journalist and writer Luciano Lincetto and the area beat singer of a sort “hippie left” Gigi Barrichello.

It certainly cannot be said that Castagna played “at home”, anything but. But he himself explains to us the reason for choosing to go out with her first presentation in this context: “Today television is still, in Italy, the most used means of communication, as demonstrated by expert data and the audience, very high, obtained from the episode, which was followed by an avalanche of orders for the book. Two years of work and research e 604 footnotes make the essay “a unicum in terms of theology and history of Catholicism” – writes Giacomo Bergamaschi, author of the afterword. The research gives clear answers, on a historical level, theological, politico, making use of the comparison with the best contemporary theoretical production, almost entirely belonging to the progressive or neo-modernist current, to avoid accusations of having written a book “ideological”. If the vulnus is to be found in the great conflict between integral Catholicism and modernism, which flared up at the end of the nineteenth century and culminated with the Second Vatican Council, I try hard to debunk some “false myths” and to claim that we are heirs of “flat line” Of Mons. Umberto Benigni. Then, I won't say the rest, otherwise, don't read the book anymore”...
