Donald Trump ‘shock’ during a meeting in the Oval Office with some members of Congress. To those who asked him to reconsider the decision to remove the protection status of thousands of immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and some African countries the tycoon would have responded: “Why should the United States have all these people coming from this shithole of countries?”. The Washington Post reports it, quoting some of those present. Trump would then add how “It would be much better for the US to bring in more people from countries like Norway”. The offensive expression – according to the media – it was 'shithole countries’ and left those present stunned and amazed, including Republican Senator Lindsay Graham and Democratic Senator Richard Durbin, who had just made a proposal: cut of 50% the lottery for entry visas into the USA but continue to protect immigrants already residing in the country with protected status. The White House is not commenting at the moment.
