BERLIN – After the electoral triumph of April 8th, the popular, charismatic sovereignist Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán launches the final offensive on the migrant front and against any other presumed adversary. It is now ready and passed yesterday evening by the absolute majority held by Fidesz (Orbán's party, member of the European People's Party) allo State House, the Hungarian Parliament, the so-called law “Stop Soros” which will punish as a criminal offense any aid to illegal immigrants provided by NGOs or any humanitarian organization.
According to the law, any organization but also any individual citizen who is guilty of helping people who do not have the qualifications to request political asylum to enter and remain in Hungary will be liable to prison sentences. A second law, always promoted by the majority , states that it will be necessary to introduce an amendment in the Hungarian Constitution to explicitly state that it will be prohibited to install or help to install in Hungary any “alien population”, that is, essentially not compliant with Western and Christian values of the Hungarian country.
