Spotlight on the links between Vatican and Freemasonry. So the ball has passed to the Church: a meeting at the end of October took place in Gubbio, organized by the ACLI and the Umbrian section of the Grand Orient. It was also a meeting sponsored however by the nearby diocese of Assisi, who only turned around after the news hit national newspapers. Then we move on to the beginning of November, where the same was done in Matera, with the “blessing” of the local bishop.
Strange and irregular bonds, so, those between the Church of Francis and Freemasonry. Bonds that cause discussion and which are defended by whom, in the Church itself, preaches a universal religion. It is no coincidence that the organizers of these events always have criticized the identity vision of the Church, which would be overcome with the advent of Pope Francis.
