Forza Italia's Finian retaliation, today it's like Future and Freedom

Forza Italia at the end of the game is - in retaliation - a kind of Future and Freedom.
Well, Yes: it's like Fli, the party that - speaking while I was alive - belonged to Gianfranco Fini and which everyone liked because yesterday's Silvio Berlusconi was very displeased.
As in the past, so in the present.
Like Giorgio Napolitano, just to sabotage Donizetti's Berlusconi, accompanied every step of the post-fascist with glasses - he deluded him into taking it to Palazzo Chigi - so Sergio Mattarella, at the Quirinale, he takes a breather from talking to the head of Forza Italia rather than seeing the yellow-green barbarians around him.
Like yesterday Fini, remote controlled, spoke of "republican patriotism", so today Berlusconi - unrecognizable in his second running board - rambles on about "Western democracies" canceling the more subversive Silvio, the one that unleashed the anathemas of Angela Merkel and Nicholas Sarkozy.
Corsi, historical recurrences and turning points, it's worth saying.
But every time the system faces the anti-system it is always within the latter - identifying the subject most susceptible to flattery - that it finds a willing hitman from its own circle ready to be co-opted into someone else's building: Fini had to have his black shirt bleached, and so much so that Berlusconi - who is also history, he is certainly not an extra like Tulliani's brother-in-law - at the price of redemption he is now risking de-Berlusconizing himself.
With a full house totaled by the head of the League, Berlusconi, rehabilitated and ready to run for the European elections with his newfound respectability, despite being supported by the big newspapers – with that Corriere della Sera that crippled it in the 1994 to celebrate him to the end by accrediting him with thaumaturgical qualities - ends up de-Berlusconizing himself, finding a role only as a "left-wing independent": pro-European, rather than sovereignist; moderate rather than yellow vest, in dialogue with the Democratic Party of ideologies and never - on the contrary, a real dam – with the post-ideological M5S whose mood of the people anyway, it is such and such as the silent majority, as long as its first outstanding quality is worth it: understand what people ask for…
If the cumbersome Berlusconi was the obsession of the aggressive Fini, thus Matteo Salvini – from the height of his 36 percent in the polls just yesterday - has become the Knight's nightmare of which everything could be imagined except finding him in the position that belonged to his ungrateful ally at the time of the PDL: “It won't work miracles but it will stem Salvini” even Massimo Cacciari mutters with satisfaction, and it is the usual right that can only please the left in the portion of the field left as a gift to Arcore.
To Matteo Salvini who calls Jean-Claude Junker a drunkard, the president of the European Commission, Berlusconi - with studied haughtiness - will have to make the same grimaces of disapproval that Fini, in his time, reserved for him, when he called the social democratic president of the European Parliament a kapo, Martin Schultz.
And so yes, just like Fli, it will be Forza Italia in this election campaign.
It was a party, the one born from the ashes of the National Alliance, revered and applauded – remember? – everywhere.
He was honored, with its leader – can you ever forget it? – by Nancy Pelosi and so also by the Sarkozys, not to mention Giuliano Amato, a sort of tutor rather than in the role of a simple ghostwriter for Fini di Fli, baptized statesman and honored with successes in the most grim international chancelleries.
In the land of Vico, everything comes back.
Already tested – clad in an unlikely morning suit – from a ride in His British Majesty's wheelchair, Fli's Fini flaunted everyone's blessing by virtue of a moral urgency: give the Italian right a respectable destiny.
A party however without a zero point. Having them, those numbers – the seats, the percentages, the famous sum that makes up the total of Totò – the Berlusconi of yesterday, and that is the Salvini of today, and without the huge useless mafia called centre-right.
The famous sum that makes the total, precisely: M5S and Lega.
With Peppino telling Totò: “…and I said it all!”.
