In this editorial I am going to use three of the major current news stories to illustrate the disconnect that exists everywhere in the Western mind.
Let's start with the issue of family separation. The separation of children from their immigrant or refugee or asylum-seeking parents sparked so much outcry that President Trump backed down and signed an executive order to end the separation of families.
The horror of children locked up in warehouses managed by private individuals who enrich themselves with taxpayers' money, while the parents are prosecuted for illegal entry, has awakened from their torpor even Americans who are self-satisfied with being "exceptional and indispensable" [refers to the well-known statement by US presidents that the USA is an exceptional nation and the only indispensable one in the world (sic!) – NdT].
It remains a mystery why the Trump regime chose to discredit its border enforcement policy by separating families.
Perhaps the policy was to discourage illegal immigration by sending the message that if you come to America your children will be taken from you.
The question is: how come Americans can see and reject the inhumane policy of border control and fail to see and reject the inhumanity of the destruction of families that has been the consistent result of Washington's destruction of all or parts of seven or eight countries in the 21st century?
Millions of people have been separated from their families by the death inflicted by Washington, and for nearly two decades there have been virtually no protests. No shout of protest stopped George W. Bush, Obama and Trump from perpetrating acts that are clearly and unambiguously illegal, defined by international law established by the USA itself, as war crimes against, the inhabitants of Afghanistan, dell’Iraq, of Libya, of Syria, of Yemen and Somalia. We can add an eighth example: the military attacks of the neo-Nazi Ukrainian puppet state armed and financed by the USA against the separatist Russian provinces.
Mass deaths, the destruction of cities, of countries, of infrastructure, the impairments, physical and mental, the uprooting that sent millions of refugees fleeing Washington's wars to invade Europe, where governments are made up of a collection of idiotic lackeys who supported Washington's massive war crimes in the Middle East and North Africa, they produced no cry of pain comparable to that against Trump's immigration policy.
We are experiencing a mass psychotic form of cognitive dissonance?
Let's now move on to the second example: Washington's withdrawal from the UN Human Rights Council.
Il 2 of November of 2017, two decades before the holocaust blamed on National Socialist Germany, the British Foreign Secretary, James Balfour, he wrote to Lord Rothschild that Great Britain favored the transformation of Palestine into a Jewish national home. In other words, the corrupt Balfour sent to hell the rights and lives of millions of Palestinians who had been in Palestine for two thousand and more years. What were these people compared to the Rothschild money? They were nothing to the British Foreign Secretary.
Balfour's attitude towards the legitimate inhabitants of Palestine is the same as the British attitude towards the people of every colony or territory over which British force had prevailed. Washington has learned this way and has consistently repeated it.
Just the other day Trump's UN ambassador, Nikki Haley, the crazy raging dog of Israel, announced that Washington was withdrawing from the Human Rights Council because it is “a cesspool of political prejudice” against Israel.
What had the Council ever done to earn this rebuke from Israeli agent Nikki Haley? The Council had denounced Israel's policy of murdering Palestinians: medici, children, mothers, old and elderly people, fathers, teenagers.
Criticize Israel, no matter how great and obvious his crime, it means being anti-Semitic and a Holocaust denier. For Nikki Haley and Israel, this relegates the Human Rights Council to the ranks of Hitler's Nazi fanatics.
The absurdity of this is evident, but few, if not none, they can detect it. Right, the rest of the world, with the exception of Israel, denounced Washington's decision, not just the enemies and the Palestinians, but also Washington's puppets and vassals.
To see the disconnect you need to pay attention to the words of the denouncements of the decision.
A European Union spokesperson said Washington's withdrawal from the Human Rights Council "risks undermining the US's role as a champion and supporter of democracy in the world theater.". One can imagine a more idiotic statement?
Washington is known as a supporter of all dictatorships that adhere to its will. Washington is known for destroying every democracy in Latin America that elected a president representing the interests of the people of that nation and not the interests of the banks of New York, of US trade and US foreign policy.
Name one place where Washington has supported democracy. Just to talk about the last few years, the Obama regime overthrew the democratically elected government of Honduras and imposed its puppet. The Obama regime overthrew the democratically elected government of Ukraine and imposed a neo-Nazi regime. Washington overthrew the governments of Argentina and Basile, it is trying to overthrow that of Venezuela and has Bolivia as well as Russia and Iran in its sights.
Margot Wallstrom, the Swedish Foreign Minister, he declared: “It saddens me that the US has decided to withdraw from the Human Rights Council. It comes at a time when the world needs more human rights and a stronger UN, not the opposite". Why the heck does Wallstrom think Washington's presence, a known destroyer of human rights, (just ask the millions of refugees from Washington's war crimes pouring into Europe and Sweden), thinks that this presence in the Human Rights Council would strengthen the Council rather than undermine it. Wallstrom's disconnect is great. E’ so extreme as to be unbelievable.
The Prime Minister of Australia, Julie Bishop, spoke for the most sycophantic of Washington's vassals when she said she was concerned about the Council's "anti-Israel bias". You have a person here who has been so brainwashed that they are unable to connect with anything that is real..
The third example is the “trade war” that Trump launched against China. The Trump regime's thesis is that due to unfair practices China has a surplus with the US of almost 400 billions of dollars. This large sum is supposedly due, precisely, to "unfair practices" by the Chinese side. In reality, the trade deficit with China is due to Apple, at Nike, Levi and a large number of American corporations that produce products offshore in China that they then sell to the Americans. When the delocalized productions of US corporations enter the USA, are counted as imports.
I have said and repeated this for many years since my testimony before the US Congressional Committee on China. I have written numerous articles published almost everywhere. They are summarized in my book The Failure of Laissez Faire Capitalism of the 2013.
The presstitute of the economic media, corporate lobbyists, which includes many academic “names”., and American political losers whose intellect practically doesn't exist, they fail to recognize that the huge US trade deficit is the result of relocations. This is the level of complete stupidity that rules America.
In The Failure of Laissez Faire Capitalism I discussed the egregious mistake made by Matthew J. Slaughter, a member of the George W. Economic Council. Bush, who incompetently claimed that for every job relocated, two jobs were created in the USA. I also denounced the Harvard professor's "study" as a scam, Michael Porter, for the so-called Competitiveness Council (a lobby for relocations), who made the extraordinary claim that the U.S. workforce benefited from offshoring their higher-value, higher-productivity jobs.
The idiotic American economists, the idiotic American financial media, and the idiotic American politicians cannot understand even now that offshoring has destroyed the prospects of the American economy and pushed China further ahead than 45 years of American expectations.
To conclude, the Western mind and the minds of the Russian "Atlanticist integrationists". [the supporters of Russia's integration into the economic circuit, financial, Western political and military, people who often occupy positions of great responsibility even in Putin's governments, NdT] and pro-American Chinese youth, they are so full of propaganda nonsense that they have no connection to reality.
There is the real world and there is the world constructed by propaganda that hides the real world and serves specific interests. My job is to get people out of the propaganda world and into the real one. Support me in this effort.
