The Riace case expands. In the past few hours a new tile has fallen on Mimmo Lucano, the mayor of Riace (now suspended), and on cooperatives involved in the local management of migrants. But it's not enough, a further seizure could open yet another chapter on the story that is bringing a different light to the Calabrian town that has become famous throughout the world for its hospitality
After the indictment for the “Xenia” trial, Lucano is also under investigation for aggravated fraud.
Two days ago the former mayor was joined by a new notice of closure of investigations, act notified by the police. The case, always relating to the management of migrants, would be based on one dispute about 134.000 euros of public money disbursed improperly.
