Reporting of National Anti-Organ Predation League
While at an international level there is a call for a suspension of donation in cardio-circulatory arrest, as “cardiac death” can be reversible, in Italy where it is illegal (L.91/99) they are practicing it, "Quatti Quatti", in various hospitals. Tactics of fait accompli (not reported nor prosecuted thanks to hidden complicity) to then obtain the legalization without debate of a predatory "custom".. Below is the summary of an international research.
“Donation after cardiovascular death: a request for a moratorium pending the opening of a public debate and a fully informed consensus

Many believe that the ethical problems related to donation after cardiac death (DCD, Donation Cardiocirculatory Death) they were “resolved” and that it is not clear why donation after cardiac death should be rejected. In this paper we will argue that non-beating heart donors may not yet be dead, and therefore that the donation of organs from people in cardiac arrest may contravene the rule of donation after death.
We first present a description of the process of donation after cardiac arrest and the ethical standard for the practice. We therefore present our concerns regarding non-beating heart donation, including the following: l’ The irreversibility of the lack of circulation is not documented and all attempts to support it have failed; conflicts of interest in all phases of the donation process after cardiac arrest, including the decision to turn off life support prior to donation, they are inevitable; potentially harmful pre-death interventions in order to preserve the validity of the organ are not justifiable, not even by appealing to the principle of double effect; Claims that donation after cardiac death complies with the intent of the law and current accepted medical standards are misleading and inaccurate; and consensus statements from respected medical groups do not change these arguments due to their low quality, being conditioned by conflict of interests. Furthermore, some arguments in favor of donation after cardiac death, although apparently true, I am “argomenti da mestatori”, such as the great advantage of organ donation.
The truth is that honesty and trustworthiness require addressing these issues rather than avoiding them. We believe that donation after cardiac death is not ethically permissible because it abandons the rule of donation after death, has unavoidable conflicts of interest and implements pre-death interventions that can hasten death.
These important points were not disclosed, but they need to be widely disclosed to the public and incorporated into fully informed consent. These are complex issues and require open public debate. Until this debate takes place, we ask for a moratorium on the practice of donation after cardiac death.”
