SYRIA: THE PRECEDENT
It's the 1957; American President Eisenhower and British Prime Minister Mcmillan decide that the time has come for "regime change" in Syria.
Shukri al-Quwatli the Syrian president who won the first democratic elections, the hero of independence was no longer reliable; it was getting too close to the Soviet Union and Washington and London could not risk losing control of Syrian oil, nor that Syria would become a communist stronghold in the Middle East.
And so the CIA and SIS were brought into play to study the best solution. And she was found: unleash a series of terrorist attacks in Damascus by pretending there was an ongoing revolt; carry out some targeted assassinations on the most influential figures in the government and a series of provocations at the Turkish borders, Iraqi and Jordanian forces that would push those nations to intervene.
CIA and SIS should have used “their capabilities in both the psychological and action fields”.
Among the Syrian government men to be killed, the first was Afif al-Bizri the Chief of Staff accused of being a man from Moscow.
The plan for "regime change" included funding for a "Free Syrian Committee" and weapons for "paramilitary political factions"; the forerunners of the current "Moderate Rebels".
The operation, now approved and executive, it ran aground due to Iraq and Jordan's refusal to launch a disastrous war in the Middle East.
The story of the attempted coup in Syria emerged a few years ago from the private documents of Duncan Sandys, Defense Secretary to the British Prime Minister and published by the Guardian.
The similarity with what is happening today is striking; but ultimately there is nothing new either in Syria or elsewhere.
FALSE FLAG: MANIPULATE AND DESTABILIZE
What didn't happen then, it has happened many other times.
It's called False Flag and it's one of the techniques with which to start wars, regime change or pursuing geopolitical designs without incurring apparent violations of international law or contrary pressure from public opinion.
False Flags are covert operations through which a Government or Intelligence Agency commits acts of terrorism, targeted assassinations, destabilizations to place the blame on enemies or adversaries and thus legitimize one's own aggressive action.
In the last century, almost everyone adopted it: the Japanese to annex Chinese Manchuria, the Soviets to invade Finland), the Nazis to prepare the invasion of Poland.
But since the Second World War, it has been the Western powers that have made the greatest use of False Flags. British, Israelis and Americans have become its masters.
From the attacks in 1946 of the M16 against ships transporting Jews to Palestine, attributing them to a phantom Palestinian organization; to Operation Susannah, with whom in 1954 Israel carried out a series of attacks in Egypt to place the blame on the Muslim Brotherhood and block the American approach to Nasser.
The CIA coup in Iran 1953, to replace the nationalist Prime Minister Mossadegh with the Shah, was preceded by a series of attacks against religious leaders organized by the Americans and attributed to communist factions to destabilize the country.
Many plans approved by governments then remained on paper, like the Northwoods Plan with which in 1962 the US sought the casus belli to invade Cuba by planning attacks against Cuban exiles by fake Castro terrorists.
FALSE FLAG DI BUSH AND OBAMA
In the new century, False Flags have become Washington's favorite tool for manipulating public opinion and legitimizing false humanitarian wars. Actually more. With Bush's "Preventive War" theory continued by Obama, False Flag turned into storytelling, storytelling, pura fiction ad uso del mainstream globale.
And so it was enough to go to the UN to show worldwide a vial of anthrax prepared by the CIA, saying that it had been found in Iraq, to legitimize the invasion of that country.
Or deliver fake reports to the media about alleged crimes committed by Gaddafi (or even to commit) against innocent "moderate rebels" financed by the West to create international outrage so that NATO could raze Libya to the ground and eliminate the inconvenient dictator who did business with the entire West.
Syria is today the theater of the great manipulation with which the West and its Sunni allies try to overthrow a non-aligned government. And Assad's legendary "chemical bombings" are the most extraordinary False Flags of recent years.
THE PRECEDENT OF KHAN SHAYKHUN
Already in Khan Shaykhun a year ago, Assad's chemical weapons story was used in an unprecedented media operation; an operation to which the UN, in the end, it gave legitimacy by producing a report incredible for inconsistencies and unreliability; a report prepared by JIM (il Joint Investigative Mechanism) in which it is admitted for example that the experts "never visited the accident site having decided to weigh the safety risks against the possible advantages for the investigation".
Which states that the entire document was built on the basis of relationships, images drawn up from "open sources" in an area that we remember, it was under the control of Al Nusra rebels and Al Qaeda militiamen.
A relationship that recognizes (but decides not to investigate) inconsistencies such as that of the many victims admitted to hospitals at times prior to the alleged bombing (p. 28-29).
A report that decides not to take into account a series of studies by independent experts who have reached completely different conclusions such as the sensational one by a scientist from MIT in Boston which we published here.
A report that says it is "sure" that Syria is responsible for a chemical attack but that for example on the page 22, admits that to date the JIM “has not found specific information confirming that an SAA Su-22 operating from Al Shayrat air base (the one that then bombed Trump in retaliation) launched an air attack against Khan Shaykhun il 4 April 2017″.
The Douma bombing seems to be part of the exact same narrative: there are some terrible videos circulating online and on the mainstream of dead children but without any real element of identification and for those who want to delve deeper into the issue we leave the article by Sebastiano Caputo who returned from that region a few days ago.
It is curious that in both cases, Assad's chemical attack occurs when the Syrian army is about to win the battle against the rebels and therefore would have no reason to use weapons that in tactical terms are completely useless (a legacy of the First World War) and in media terms disastrous for those who use them (while on the contrary very useful for those who suffer them).
And it's also curious that every time, the attack materializes soon after Trump announced policy changes in Syria: one year ago, immediately after declaring that Washington was no longer interested in Assad's removal and now 6 days after announcing the withdrawal of troops from Syria. And every time, punctually, a dark and inexplicable chemical attack by the regime forces Washington and the West to reopen the crisis with Assad. They look like textbook False Flags.
HANDS OFF SYRIA
Assad is winning the war, Putin is upsetting the plans for the new Middle East designed by the West, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye (and above all Israel, ndr). America risks coming out in pieces 20 years of mistakes, criminal wars and arrogant attempts to redesign the region carried out by Bush and Obama on the orders of the neo-con elite that has dominated Washington in recent years.
Trump, despite the bellicose frontier cowboy tones, is perhaps trying to stem the pressure from the globalist elite and the War Party that rages in the media and within the Deep State. But that doesn't mean he'll make it. And it is precisely in the internal struggle within US democracy that the game for Syria and the future balance of the world is being played out.
