The investigation concerns the company 'Eventi 6’ of Rignano sull'Arno, of which Laura Bovoli is the owner, specialized in leafleting, marketing and promotion of events. In particular, the investigators wanted to delve deeper into what was behind two invoices for 140 thousand and 20 thousand euros issued by 'Eventi 6’ for services that would have been provided to the company of the entrepreneur Luigi D'Agostino.
The Florentine magistrates' suspicion was that the invoices did not correspond to the services actually provided, in particular the one of 140 thousand euros concerning the feasibility study for a shopping center that D'Agostino wanted to open in Tuscany. In an interception, the entrepreneur himself had stated that he would have inflated the amount compared to its actual value “to the utmost 50-60-70 thousand euros”.
The opening date of the trial in Florence for the suspicious invoices of 'Events 6’ had already been set for 4 March.
