Comparisons between "old" presidents: Mattarella & Napolitano
Saturday 25 maggio (A.D. 2018) the President of the Republic SERGIO MATTARELLA placed his veto on the Prime Minister in charge Prof. Giuseppe Conte on the name of Prof. PAOLO SAVONA as head of the M.E.F. ….. as well as previously (A.D. 2014) the then President GIORGIO NAPOLITANO he acted similarly for the same prestigious Dicastery in via XX Settembre, with the then Prime Minister in charge Matteo Renzi,
These are not occasional or imaginative references, since what has now been highlighted had already been promptly exposed in this newspaper (*1), taking inspiration from the "reconfirmation" at the Quirinale of “President-RE”, smuggling with a farcical parliamentary operation (in deference to an alleged Vox of the People) the inability of the demo-party system to launch a new government with Bersani, at that time opposed by Grillini Furiosi.
It should be noted that following the news from Colle - broadcast yesterday via the airwaves, today from the printed paper – both positions have been unleashed for and against President Mattarella, is pros and cons the political forces that would win the electoral cycle of 4 March.
In my opinion, apart from a personal critical contempt towards these institutions and their apparatus, I truly believe pathetic the numerous utterances of the P.D. however expressed in turn, both from the wire, both by the anti-Renzians. And given that the P.D. is constituted, in large part, by former Christian Democrats and former Communists, it is obvious that it is not appropriate to trust them and - coincidentally - in these "human typologies" both President Mattarella and, be the Emeritus Napolitano …. like most of their predecessors, including him excellent Oscar Luigi Scalfaro and Sandro Pertini, both absolutely not to be regretted !. However and to conclude – in addition to not trusting men (and women) of the P.D. – in particular we should not trust those who, in youth, they were also Boy Scouts !
And here I have to self-criticize because, despite being a “Black Heart” doc, I had initially considered Matteo Renzi a potential innovator supporting, consequentially, the referendum battle (albeit with clear and different motivations) ma, subsequently and unfortunately, I had to change my mind about its supposed coherence, canceled by the opportunism of the system and by collusion with party officials.
