Indiscriminate immigration can lead to Islamization. And in this interview, as well as talking about “danger” relating to uncontrolled immigration, he also clarified the matter regarding the alleged accusations of “heresy” a Joseph Ratzinger. Immigration, identity and theology at the center of the following exclusive interview.
Mons. livi, you were somehow accused of calling Joseph Ratzinger a heretic. He would explain to us how things are?
“I have not accused anyone of heresy, because the condemnation of a thesis as heretical belongs only to ecclesiastical authority. It is in fact the exclusive prerogative of the Church to formally enunciate the truth revealed by God (the dogma) and consequently also indicate what contradicts it (heresy). In a treatise entitled True and False Theology I criticize some authors who do not practice theological science with the method that it deserves. I documented how they revived and developed theological modernism, which was the subject of an explicit doctrinal condemnation by Saint Pius. Modernism has among its greatest exponents Karl Rahner and Hans Küng, but Joseph Ratzinger also brought forward some instances, and I felt compelled to point it out. However, I only referred to what Ratzinger wrote as a theologian, i.e. as a “private doctor”, and not to what he taught as Pope”.
In one of the recent interviews given, she talked about “flatterers of Bergoglio”. The doctrinal clash, In summary, seems destined not to subside…
“The description of the Catholic world as ideologically divided between friends and enemies of Pope Francis is fake news. All Catholic faithful have the duty to be friends of the Pope, whoever he is at a given moment in history. As vicar of Christ, the pope does not need to be defended by imaginary "internal enemies", just as he does not need to be flattered for his way of exercising papal authority, because all the Catholic faithful venerate him and obey him as they see in him "the sweet Christ on earth", as Saint Catherine of Siena said. But every pope can criticize certain government actions that seem less useful for building the Church in faith, just as one can criticize the speeches he makes when speaking as a "private doctor", without committing the magisterial authority and the charism of infallibility”.

“Being a "profession of faith" whose object is the norms of Catholic morality deriving from the dogma on the Sacraments of grace (Baptismo, Marriage, Penance, Eucharist), such a document is a normal thing from people who are bishops, and as such they have the essential task of being "teachers of the faith". From a pastoral point of view, that document meets the need to dispel the doubts that certain interpretations of the post-synodal exhortation Amoris laetitia have caused”.
Among the lay people, especially among those who are defined “conservatory”, Concern is growing about the Church's approach to the issue of immigration. Some have defined Bergoglio's theology as one “theology of immigrationism”. There is a danger of identity loss due to uncontrolled immigration?
“What you call "immigrationism" is not a theology but a globalist political project with clear economic interests linked to financial neo-capitalism. Pope Francis sometimes seems to support this project because he considers it comparable to the social doctrine of the Church. But the principles of natural moral law and the Gospel do not at all imply an obligation for individuals and the community to encourage indiscriminate and unregulated immigration which destabilizes both the countries from which the migrants come and those which suffer their invasion.. Without talking about the real danger of Islamization of the latter countries to the detriment of the freedom of worship of Christians, already persecuted where Islam is politically hegemonic. I know that you have followed this dramatic story carefully and therefore understand what I am referring to”.
Another much debated topic is that relating to the so-called “right alone”, which obviously also concerns immigration. Many, including Cardinal Burke, they support the need for non-interference on the part of the Church. He has a position on the matter?
“The words I read in your interview with Cardinal Burke are absolutely fair and balanced. Like every man of faith and doctrine, and like every Pastor responsible for announcing the Gospel, Burke appropriately recalled that discretionary choices on questionable political issues should be left to political parties, that parliament, to governments, respecting democratic pluralism and the autonomy of civil powers”.
Among his publications, can be found: “Christ is not Marx”. Ecco, the impression is that for some Christ has become a political symbol of absolute and ideological equality. Liberation theology is still widespread?
“Unfortunately yes. The so-called "liberation theology" was born in Germany, in the Lutheran context, and then it was introduced into Catholic theology by Johann Baptist Metz. The pro-Marxist doctrines of Latin America then derived from him, starting with that of the Peruvian Gustavo Gutiérrez. It is an ideology that interprets in political and materialistic terms the "Kingdom of God" announced by Christ as an event of grace in the souls of individual believers ("the Kingdom of God is within you"), and has become the propaganda weapon of all forms of political action that aim to gain power in social environments where the reference to the Gospel arouses easy consensus. But the true Gospel does not promote any construction of "heavens on earth"
The Church is divided. This is an argument that is difficult to deny. According to her, but, there is a journalistic tendency to emphasize everything? In short, “the boat” is or is not in the “storm”?
“Of course there are many divisions in the Church, as there always have been. But the most striking ones concern the use and abuse that ideological lobbies make of the power structures of the Church to support their political demands, it doesn't matter if you're right-wing (conservatory, traditionalists) or left (progressives, reformists). Both aim for a civil society structured according to their ideology, but they falsely present it as the only way to be faithful to the Gospel. This is baseless fundamentalism (theological), which makes the Gospel an "instrumentum regni". I refuse to choose whether to stay on one side (for example, on the side of the American supporters of "Catholic neo-capitalism") or on the other (for example, on the side of the "cathocommunists"). This is why I first criticized liberation theology. I repeat: any exploitation of the Church for merely temporal purposes is always against the will of Christ, who established his Church as the "universal sacrament of salvation", that is, only and exclusively to guarantee everyone, at all times, the grace of liberation from sin and the certain hope of eternal life”.
Relativism, secularization, loss of Western identity: the Holy Father seems to hint at the evils of our time, but it certainly does not seem to accentuate these aspects too much. Ratzinger, Instead, he talked about it more consistently. He believes this pontificate is too much “materialistic”?
“Also on this aspect I tell you that the answer that Cardinal Burke gave you is the right one. There is nothing to add”.
