Although the number of new asylum requests to the EU has decreased this year, the migration crisis currently seems to have reached its highest point. Hundreds of migrants have shown that they are determined to enter the EU and no one will be able to stop them. Driven by desperation and hunger they are ready to risk their own lives and the lives of border agents to enter Europe. They don't accept “no”.
The violence they employ against the police is shocking and must be a warning sign for Brussels. So far the EU has not responded to this incident, ma, if a concrete action plan is not developed soon, there is the risk that violence and anarchy will also reach the heart of Europe.
Even before the start of the civil war of 2011 the Libyan dictator Gaddafi warned so:
“Listen to me carefully. If you want to suffocate and destabilize me, you will only play Bin Laden's game and help the armed groups of insurgents. The following will happen. You will be attacked by a wave of migration coming from Africa which will pour into Europe from Libya. There will be no one left here to stop them”.
At the time, Gaddafi probably never imagined that he was alone 6 months later he would be killed by rioters in the street after NATO's intervention. But with his warning Gaddafi was right although this does not intend to justify in any way the actions of the Libyan despot. Until 2011 Libya was the richest African country and the desired destination for the starving Eritrean and Nigerian populations.
As for the population, Libya was among the countries with the most immigrants in the world. Today Libya is a failed state in which there is a dual government but there is no order. The failure of this state has also destabilized neighboring countries. Difficult situations are observed practically from Nigeria to Somalia. During the civil war France and the USA actively supplied the Libyan rebels with weapons who naturally did not return them after the end of the war. Military equipment from Gaddafi's arsenals was looted. Thus Libya was formed into a real one “arms market”. The Humans Rights Watch organization thus warned after the end of the civil war: “It's the largest distribution of weapons we've ever seen. It will be a threat to the region in the coming decades”. A similar development could also be observed following the American interventions in Iraq, Afghanistan e, before the Russian intervention, also in Syria.
Today the majority of asylum applications in Germany are submitted by refugees from the above countries. Mostly Nigerians leave Africa for Europe, Eritrea, Somalia e Chad. More than 75% of refugees arriving in Europe by sea leave from Libyan ports.
The politics of the German Chancellor of “somehow we will make it” recalls the impotence of the Roman Empire shortly before its fall. The Romans failed to manage the migration crisis when the Goths were at the gates and entered the Empire during the attack of the Huns. Initially the Goths were welcomed peacefully, food was provided to them, but when flow became too important, the Romans started a war to stop the Goths.
Furthermore, the corrupt Roman authorities kept food for them and, when the Goths who lived in Rome realized this unfair treatment towards them, an insurrection broke out. The famous historian Alexander Demandr also listed other causes of the fall of the Roman Empire: “Decadence, greed, old-fashioned way of thinking, immobility and loss of national identity”. And today in Europe it seems that many citizens of the Union believe that everything is fine as long as they have a roof over their heads, they can go out to eat and take holidays. The fall of the Roman Empire began before the migration crisis, so the parallels are chilling. And the legendary quote from Cicero: “How long will our patience last??” proves more relevant than ever if addressed to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Interior Minister Horst Seehofer.
Merkel's security policy towards migrants differs from her predecessor's policy, l’ex cancelliere Willy Brandt: “In our company they work approximately 2,5 millions of people representing other nations. We have reached the point of having to carefully evaluate where the ultimate limit lies beyond which we can no longer welcome other people and our social responsibility ends”.
Helmut Schmidt ten years later he warned:”More than 4 millions of foreigners are the maximum number for German society if we don't want to have serious problems. We will not be able to integrate more than 4,5 millions of foreigners without any negative consequences”. Today they live in Germany 10,6 millions of foreigners and there has been no talk of secure borders for some time. Horst Seehofer attempted together with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz and the countries of the Visengrad group to present an alternative program for resolving the migration crisis. “Illegal immigrants must be expelled, border defense must be strengthened. In third countries, collection centers must be built for migrants whose asylum applications have been refused and the Frontex agency must be converted into a border police force”.
The main point of this program is the possibility of applying for asylum in the country of origin. So, after the Ceuta uprisings the question arises: what these centers should do and how they should be defended? The African population is growing very quickly and by 2050 will double until it reaches 2,5 billion. The flow of refugees driven by hunger, from economic problems, from corruption and a lack of prospects could increase. It is very likely that refugees will not accept the rejection of their asylum application and will leave for Europe anyway.
In Syria there is a glimmer of hope because that is where a large part of the refugees are currently heading “Europeans”. Thanks to Russian support for President Bashar al-Assad, it was possible to largely expel ISIS from Syria and interrupt the civil war. After the visit of the Russian delegation, the Syrian president confirmed that all refugees “safe repatriation will be guaranteed”. Active work is already being done on the repatriation of Syrian refugees from neighboring countries (Türkiye, Lebanon and Jordan) so that they can be an integral part of the country's recovery. It will probably be possible in the future to dialogue with Assad to conclude similar agreements for the repatriation of refugees.

France is one of the few (ex) powers of the defunct European system to have preserved and perpetuated hegemonic designs on what was its colonial empire, despite the loss of relative power, both in Europe and around the world, and the affirmation of a new international order that is no longer Eurocentric. In the beginning I was Charles de Gaulle wanting to prevent France's decline from a great world power to a regional power in decline and in a peripheral position in the new post-war order. For this purpose, France equipped itself with atomic weapons and attempted to reconquer the former imperial African territories through a policy of economic neocolonialism following the ambitious and visionary plan for French-speaking Africa developed by Jacques Foccart, one of the most important ideologues and strategists of the Gaullist era. Foccart's neo-imperial revival plan for France did not only aim at the reconquest of Africa, but to the expansion up every French-speaking territory in the world. The support provided by the Sdece fits into this context, the secret services for foreign countries, to the Quebec separatist movement, and that controversial “Long live free Quebec!” shouted by De Gaulle to the Montreal crowd in 1967. The “Mare Nostrum” operation, which marked the beginning of the extraordinary wave of migration (some talking about invasion) from the African coasts, and in particular from Libya destabilized by Anglo-French-American aggression, had an exceptional sponsor. High-level sources from the Ministry of the Interior revealed this to Stilum Curiae, who were present and operational in the control room at the time. This is the revelation, which was witnessed by a high-ranking official of the ministry, retired today: the Pontiff (for six months, it was October 2013) he telephoned the then Prime Minister Enrico Letta to request an intervention from Italy. While it became known about a subsequent phone call, when the Letta government was in difficulty, of the interview of 2013 had not become known. Here is the story we were told, and which we report, sure of the solidity of the source.
“As is known, the exceptional migratory pressure that Europe e, in particular, Italy are experiencing originated between the months of October and November 2013 when, following the shipwreck of a boat full of illegal immigrants off the coast of Lampedusa, Italy unilaterally decided to launch Operation “Mare Nostrum” with the aim of collecting as many migrants as possible at sea, bring them to the national territory, have everyone apply for asylum and process them, rather than as illegal immigrants, as asylum seekers e, in fact, like real refugees. Migrations for Libya and from Libya are still a problem and, to pay for it, it is the same local population. “The Libyans want the immigration phenomenon to be stopped”, Jamal Adel tells us, a boy who is part of the Tebu tribe in Kufra in the south-east of the country.
“It would be a great thing if the new interior minister Matteo Salvini could stop the migration problem", another boy who requested anonymity for security reasons and who works for an organization that monitors conflicts in Sebha tells us, a town destroyed by human trafficking.
The boy then adds that “few newspapers are interested in what Libyans think about the migration phenomenon but, actually, we want this phenomenon to stop because it is seriously damaging our country".
Mac K. B. Simpsons, Ghanaian and migration expert who lives in Tripoli, he tells us: “It is important that this trafficking is stopped before the migrants even enter Libya”.
For many Libyans the problem is to be found above all in the NGOs operating in the Mediterranean: “Traffickers rely on NGOs, it has already been proven that they collaborate. They also feed the Libyan and Italian mafias", says Adel. Read More

Expelled from the Quirinale gate, Italian populism could transform into an unprecedented wave of nationalism in a country that has always demonstrated little attachment to the flag and a much greater attachment to the wallet, which today languishes. Mattarella leads Paolo Savona, an elderly and esteemed gentleman who allowed himself to be exploited by the crafty Matteo Salvini, it was a masterstroke to repel, at least for the moment, the Cinquestelle from the control room, but it could turn into a boomerang.
Go back to the fall of Gaddafi to understand
Italy remains a vulnerable country inside and above all outside, on markets and in foreign policy. Also vulnerable to the theories of an international conspiracy by the European and internal establishment to defend the euro, sometimes cited inappropriately as the father of all Italian troubles. But we must always find a culprit to justify our ignorance. There is no conspiracy, for the moment, but the evidence of the facts. Italy has been a fragile country since 2011 France, Great Britain and the United States decided to eliminate Colonel Gaddafi, its most important ally in the Mediterranean than just six months earlier, il 30 August 2010, had received with great fanfare in Rome, signing contracts worth tens of billions and relying on the Raìs for the control of migratory flows. Not only did Italy not defend it but it bombed it, giving in to the blackmail of its NATO allies who threatened to attack Eni's terminals.
It was Italy's biggest defeat since the Second World War. The consequences were devastating: colossal monetary losses and a wave of migration that, year after year, it destabilized the political framework of the country. From that 2011 Italy's allies and competitors have undermined our interests, leaving us alone and adrift. While yesterday in Rome the most lacerating political crisis of recent years was taking place, Emmanuel Macron has called an international conference on Libya for tomorrow in Paris which "will take place under the auspices of the United Nations" to set the date of the elections. That Abu Mazen's statements (the Jews would be somehow responsible for the Shoah) are unacceptable, as he immediately declared, among others, also the European Union, there's no need to even say it. One wonders though, as a reader of Il Fatto did (27.4), Mauro Chiostri, talking about today and not about the codified yesterday, whether the State of Israel does not enjoy a special safe conduct based precisely on the Jewish extermination of three-quarters of a century ago. It's a question, for the truth, which many people do but which they do not dare to express publicly for fear of being immediately branded as anti-Semitic, deniers, racists, Nazis. But Israel is a state and should not be confused with the international Jewish community. In less Manichaean years than the ones we are currently experiencing, it was the Jewish community itself that did not want such confusion to arise. And it was logical that this should be the case. Because Israel is a state and, as such, can perform objectionable actions, and even nefarious, but that doesn't mean he has to answer for it, let's say, a Jew from the Rome ghetto. Today, however, this confusion exists and Israel can carry out acts with impunity that would cost other states indignant condemnation, if not worse, of the so-called 'international community'.
