To avoid offending the sensitivity of non-Catholic students, the teachers of an elementary school in Brenta Riviera, on the border between the provinces of Venice and Padua, they had deleted the name of Jesus from a Christmas song learned for the play. But a little girl of 10 years she rebelled and, after collecting the “firm” among classmates, he won his battle: Jesus thus resumed his place in the song.

The request to leave the full proof lyrics of the song “Merry Christmas” was signed by almost all the children in the classroom, forcing teachers to reverse. The teachers agreed at that point to reinsert it into the Christmas show, in which the parents of the students will participate, the original version of the song.
The episode was reported to the Venetian councilor of the Northern League Alberto Semenzato from the girl's mother, only became aware of her daughter's resourcefulness after the fact.
