Stockholm, 30 dic – Swedish Television (SVT), Swedish state television, has revealed a possible burning background that would open up entirely new – and extremely politically correct – horizons for mystery of the birth of Jesus from the Virgin Mary. The theory advanced by the Swedish public service goes beyond these theses to take the side of the most extreme gender theories: according to SVT, Maria would have reproduced nothing less than by parthenogenesis. All seasoned with a curious introduction that reads: “For those who are not satisfied with a religious explanation, but he wants a scientific explanation". Parthenogenesis in biology corresponds to a type of sexual reproduction that often occurs in plants, algae and animals such as fish, in which the embryo does not require fertilization (and therefore the intervention of a second "protagonist", human or divine) to develop.

The only missing piece to this “scientific explanation”, beyond the fact that there is no evidence of any case of parthenogenesis occurring among mammals, it is that of the sex of the unborn child: in this type of reproduction, Indeed, the newborn is genetically identical to the parent, which also means it must be the same sex. In short, the solution would be obvious: Christ was actually born a woman.
The fact that in the New Testament Jesus is completely described as a man, according to SVT it would not represent an obstacle to this thesis, On the contrary. In short, we can conclude that Jesus was a transvestite or a transsexual.
Or, the television writers continue to say, we should assume that it was rather Mary who lived as a woman, although in reality he was a man? This would explain the male biological nature of Christ born through parthenogenesis... but in this case who would he have been born from?? As you can see, once female and male sexuality is detached from biology, science fiction perspectives open up. Not only is science not democratic, but for some it doesn't even need to respond to their own logic.
