The March

The meeting is on the National Mall where several speakers will speak, including Abby Johnson. Her testimony will be particularly valuable because it comes from a woman who was the director of an abortion clinic. Abby Johnson was also named Planned Parenthood's employee of the month, the company he worked for and which is a leader in the abortion facilities sector. Over the years, but, however, the woman was convinced of how sacred life is and must always be defended.

The mobilization

Dioceses and associations are mobilizing from every corner of the United States to once again give a great demonstration of strength in defense of unborn life. The organization invited those who participate not to respond to any provocations from the counter-protesters. Very often pro-life activists are victims of the intolerance of extremists who contest their right to bring the issue of the defense of life to the streets.

Trump's endorsement

The American president also delivered a speech at last year's edition. Donald Trump called the March for Life “a movement born of love”, by sending a video message broadcast during the event. The president had expressed himself quite clearly in favor of the pro-choice cause: “You love your family – he had written – love your neighbor, love the nation, love every child, born and unborn, because you believe that every life is sacred, every child is a precious gift from God”. “We know – he continued – that life is the greatest miracle.
