His mother is a young Mexican immigrant who, when she gets pregnant, she finds herself alone in front of her father and her boyfriend who don't want the child. Then the rapprochement of relatives who offer to accompany her for an assessment visit. The little girl accepts and, once in hospital, signing papers in English which he does not understand. I am for consent to abortion, fortunately, however, the instruments for the operation were missing that day. The minor was supposed to return later, but before leaving a doctor lets out a word “abortion” and she understands the deception. Hearing that voice, Christina's mother changes her mind, but turning to look for the woman he no longer finds her. So she goes to the abortion doctor, he explains to him that he wants to leave and so he does, even if he is angry "because he feared that other women present would also leave". About ten years ago, when she was uncertain whether abortion was permissible or not, Christina discovers that she might not have been there if it hadn't been for that African American. Not only that, as soon as the mother revealed the truth to her daughter, something happened that today Christina dedicates her life to helping desperate women who want to have an abortion: «My heart suddenly changed. I had been saved by God. He had helped me; I felt loved by Him. And I began to understand how much he wanted me alive and wanted me to help other children live.".
